Paper is the number one material that we throw away. For every 100 pounds of trash we throw away, 39 pounds is paper. Newspapers take up about 14% of landfill space, and paper in packaging accounts for another 15 to 20%.

- Tissue paper
- Books hard and soft cover
- Paper bags
- Tickets of any kind i.e., airplane, concert, transportation
- Envelopes with or without the windows
- Construction paper
- Tracing paper
- Coated paper
- Receipt paper
- Telephone books
- Pizza Boxes (without the pizza please!)
Special Note
Staples, Tape, and Paper Clips don’t have to be removed from paper before recycling with us. For security you should always Shred all paper that contains personal information i.e., Bank statements, Telephone bills, and Credit card statements. Please inquire about our shredding service.

At Happy Stan’s Recycling we have two cages outside for paper. One is for newspapers and magazines and the other cage is for all other mixed paper.
